The Oral History Company – is a network of full-time freelance professionals with a common interest in producing high quality oral history. We operate throughout the UK on public oral history commissions large and small.

Originally set up as a Community Interest Company, we remain true to our key social aim: the democratisation of knowledge and heritage through the collection and preservation of oral history. Members of the network may work on projects individually, or in any combination; the network includes several experienced project managers able to supervise larger projects on a case-by-case basis.

We welcome opportunities to extend our online home for abandoned oral history archives – do get in touch via our contact page. To see and listen to our rescued archives click here.
